I am American, white, middle class, 68 years old.
As I review my life I see friends:
Friends of many colors and religions. Friends who have shaped my life, influenced my values, lifted me up, yes, and sometimes carried me.
Life has not always been easy, with marriage, divorce, remarriage and being widdowed all by the age of 40. I am most fortunate, however, in having had so many good friends along the way.
This web site is my way of "giving back" to the world some of the encouragement and smiles I've received along the way.
And ranking at the top of my friends are my children and stepchildren. There were times when I forgot, but they remembered, how to laugh.
My very best friend is "The Weedy Man" -- Husband of 25 years -- he keeps my sense of humor sharp -- he is my strength in time of need.
