A CHICKEN NAMED FAY: AN EASTER STORY

There once was a chicken named FAY
To whom everyone said:		"GO AWAY!"

She wasn't pretty, she wasn't smart

(But she managed to get an "A" in art!)

As years went by she found a friend
	...A rabbit whose ears had a weird little bend

They joined together to form a pair...
The odd looking chicken
and misshapen hare

She could create

and		he could deliver
So they opened a shop down by the river.


She painted her eggs -- made a lovely display! But, alas, no customers came their way. An angel in heaven looked down from the sky and said, "I must help this poor chick and her guy!"

So she chatted with Santa about his short season, and proceeded to give him a very good reason to expand into spring with a new enterprise. Santa listened and thought that indeed would be wise.

	Now you know the story of a chicken named Fay and a rabbit named Jay: How they got to bring Easter to kids in their own special way!
