* IF you get music on other web sites that you visit try downloading the latest version of Microsoft's Windows Media Player, and when you install it make sure it is the default player for midi files. You should also be using Internet Explorer version 5 or version 6. The media plaer and the newer versions of IE are both free downloads. If you do not get music on any other web site either, you may not have a sound card installed in your computer, or you may not have speakers -- OR -- your speakers may be turned off or unplugged. * The location of the pictures and music files changes almost daily. It is necessary for you to set your computer to always load the latest version of any web page you visit. See the printable version of how to do this. RETURN to questions.

* To make your computer play only the song that goes with each web page open your "My Computer" file, then click on "Control Panel", and when that opens click on "Folder Options". When this window opens, on the tab marked "general" find the section called "Browse Folders" and move your cursor to the space in front of the line that says "open each folder in same window" and click on that to place a dot on that line. Then go to the buttons at the bottom of that window and first click on "apply", then on "OK". If your computer is already set up this way you won't have had a problem with the sound files loading over the top of each other (as far as I know, anyway). RETURN to questions.

* Continue to scroll down, past the card part of the page, there is a beige box with a button to click. This button takes you to the card sending form. The form will be EITHER at the bottom of the card page OR be linked to as a separate page. If the form does not appear you may generate an e mail from your own computer and copy and paste the url of the page into the body of your e mail. The url of each web page is found at the very bottom of the individual page. RETURN to questions.

* There is a box to check on the card sending form which will send you a copy of the e mail which was sent to your friend or relative. Check this little box, and when you get your copy of the e mail you will know the person has received theirs also (providing that you typed in their correct e mail address on the form when you filled it out). * Several of the categories on Happy Day Cards are there JUST BECAUSE someone wrote to me to ask for a certain type of card that I had not yet thought of doing. Examples are the "Love/Relationship", cards for spouse for anniversaries, and the "Kards For Kids" section. So, if you need a card for an occasion that isn't listed, please SEND ME AN E MAIL. I am not inspired to "do great things" at all times, so it would really help me if you can give me a couple of days to work on a new idea for you. I will let you know when I have done a new card that you requested, however. Remember, this is a family oriented site, and I don't do insults or graphic sex stuff. RETURN to questions.

* Each time I send a newsletter there are many that are returned because people's mail boxes are full, and they cannot receive any more mail until they clear them out. This is especially a problem for the on line mail services. You need to periodically (about once a week is usually good) delete your "sent" mail items and your "deleted mail" items in order to keep your mail box functioning. RETURN to questions.

* Although my recipes are lowfat and healthy I cannot tell you which ones might be appropriate for YOU to eat! I am not a licensed health care provider, nor am I a registered dietician. Therefore, I do not ever give advice about what any one person can or should eat. * CUSTOMIZE YOUR VIEWING: If the print size on any of the pages.......or on the navigation frame to the left....... is too small for you to read, go to the top of your browser and click on "view", then click on "text size" from the drop down box, and click on a size larger than the one where the little dot is now. OR, if the print size is too large for your viewing comfort you can do the same thing and click on a size smaller than the one where the dot is now. If you are using Netscape click on "view" and then on "increase font" or "decrease font" to change the text size. RETURN to questions.

In order to prevent this I change the location of my pictures and music files almost daily. The best way to deal with this is DO NOT LINK TO MY INDIVIDUAL FILES. I do appreciate it when people put alink to any PAGE on my web site, however! If you are confused about the difference between linking to pages and linking to individual files you are probably not one of the people who is "stealing bandwidth".
