Not fancy cars or diamond rings -- But a friendly smile, a bright blue jay, Some petals saved from a child's bouquet,

Family and friends and a meal together Warm the heart in any weather A kindly word, a hug for no reason And laughter shared in every season Life's treasures make a sweet bouquet To brighten our hearts each and every day

The flower designs on the card above are real: Made with "petals and twigs" and infinite patience by Barbara Johnson, who is the wife of Colin Johnson, who wrote the background music. They live in England. Barbara and Colin are two of the treasures in my life.
